'Grannus' was an ancient Celtic God that was associated with healing. These stones that I have created are wheel thrown closed forms. They are then burnished 3 times with a river rock. Then fired in a kiln to 1900 degrees F. The choice is made to leave the stones with their natural color, or to torch seaweed on the surface leaving the smoking appearance, or to use Ferric Chloride creating different shades of pink on the surface. These 'Stones' are meant to be held to receive the healing powers from Grannus
